He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Hiltz and Dorthy "Dolly" Hiltz (Pulsifer); his siblings, Doris (Bill Venator), Floyd and Jerry; and his grandsons, Mathew and Robert.
He is survived by: his significant other Jean (Hurshman); his children, Lenny (Darlene), John (Shawna), Cindy Pearo (Will) and Jamie (Connie); his sister-in-law Agnes Hurshman; and his pet Leroy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carrolls Corner Rec Hall (9 Milford Rd, Carrolls Corner, NS B0N1Y0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. George's Church (1089 NS-277, Dutch Settlement, NS B2S2J6).
