We announce the death of Ivy Moon Doreen Leonard of East Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 28, 2026. Ivy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Ivy will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Ivy will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Ivy’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ryan Leonard (Jennifer) and Jennifer Russell (Dennis); her brother Maverick; her grandparents, Pam and Brian; her uncle Matthew (Kelly); her cousins, Katie, Ewen and Jax; and her uncle Trevor Marcoux. She was also cherished by family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lawrencetown Community Centre (3657 Lawrencetown Rd, Lawrencetown, NS B2Z1P9).
