He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Clayton and Marjorie Clayton; his siblings, Kathleen, Josephine, Wanda, Raymond, Donald, Marie, Randolph, Burthon, Leona, Bayfield and Dexter; his grandson Marchello; and his former wife Victoria Crawley-Clayton.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Elaine Clayton; his children, Roy (Kristine), Cassandra (Russell), Amanda, Marcus, Joyce and Raylene; his grandchildren, Shyrell, Amber (Antoine), Paige, Ethan Malai, Marcus Jr., Burell and Tyrae; his great grandchildren, Shymiya, Doravian, Chalice, Raquel, Joelle and Joseph; his siblings, Geraldine, Eveline, Jean, Olive, Timothy, Cecil, Claudette, Eddy and Vanessa; and his godchildren, Avery Crawley, LeeAnne Crawley and Nathan Sparks.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the East Preston United Baptist Church (206 Upper Partridge River Rd, East Preston, NS B2Z1H3). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9).
