We bid farewell to Leona MacIntyre of Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 17, 2025 at the age of 88. Leona touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Garfield MacKenzie and Winnifred MacKenzie (MacEachern); her husband John Joseph; and her sister Helen Fraser. She is survived by: her sons, Richard, Roderick (Mary Leigh), Leonard and Donald (Heather); her grandchildren, Dylan (Shanta), Kayleigh, Rebecca, Gracie, Alexis and Anita; her great grandchildren, John Joseph Edward and Jax Roderick MacIntyre; and her siblings, Gordon, Johnie, Jimmie, Archie, Douglas MacKenzie and Anita MacDonald.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Columba Church (4414 NS-337, Lakevale, NS B2G2L2).
Mass cards are welcome, or donations may be made in Leona's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
