With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Marilla Stephenson (Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia), born in New Waterford, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 6, 2020 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Ronald "Rannie" and Margaret Alice "Peggy" Kavanaugh (McCuish); her son Ron; her brothers, Ronald and Donald; and her sister-in-law Mat Kavanaugh.

She is survived by: her husband Michael E. "Mick" Stephenson; her children, Marilla, Greg (Carolyn), Bill (Tara), Fort McMurray, Dan (Patrick) and Colin (Marta); her brother Clarence; her sisters-in-law, Rita Kavanaugh and Isabel Kavanaugh; her grandchildren, Tim (Siobhan), Ian, Lauren (Jordan), Brock, Ben and Abbie; and her great grandchildren, Nolan and Olivia. She is also survived by brothers, sisters and their spouses; many nieces and nephews.
