With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie (Alfreda Doucet) Goudie of Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia, born in Allardville, New Brunswick, who passed away on September 3, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Doucet and Celenire Doucet (Roy); her husband Lorne R. Goudie; and her siblings, Carmel, Maurice, Emile, Sylvio and Gerard.

She is survived by : her children, Cheryl Goudie (Johnny), Norman (Theresa), Patricia Bishop (Michael), Michele Hildreth (Bruce) and Lorne P. (June); and her siblings, Mercia, Murielle, Patricia, Lucy, George and Lionel. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
