He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathleen MacNeill (Kit) and Robert MacNeill. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Marlene MacNeill; his children, Cindy MacNeill and Alex MacNeill (Christine Keeping); his grandsons, Brayden and Bradley MacNeill; and his siblings, Betty Ann Danks (Billy), Cathy Belanger (Marc) and Neil MacNeill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Eastern Passage Community Funeral Home (5 Cow Bay Rd, Eastern Passage, NS B3G1M5).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 164 (Eastern Passage) in Bob's memory.
