He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Purdy and Evelyn Purdy; his siblings, Leonard, Derrick and Lorraine; his sister-in-law Mary; and his great-niece Mya.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughters, Charlene and Sheryl Farrington (Chris); his grandson Connor; his siblings, Ralph (Rita), Wayne, Patricia Bennett (Phil) and Michael; and his sister-in-law Lynn.
