With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bea Weaver of Elmsdale, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 5, 2023 at the age of 109. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bea Weaver to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edgar Colpitts and Eva Colpitts (Welling); and her husband John. She is survived by : her children, Arthur (Grete), Diane (Doug Price), B. C., Judith (Bob Lee), Sheryl of Elmsdale, N. S., Peter Sydney (Marlene) and N. S. Beatrice. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great - great granddaughters, as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Beatrice may be made to her favorite charity, the World Wildlife Federation or to a charity of your choice.

“Terence Weaver (son of Ronald and Mary Weaver) and I, Francine, would like to extend our most sincere condolences to your family. We used to visit Aunt Bea and Uncle John in Elmsdale, NS with our daughters Nancy and Alison when we lived in Halifax for a few years in the 1980s. We have fond memories of them. May she rest in peace. Thinking of your family at this time. With love.”
