She was predeceased by : her husband Ralph; her parents, Rennie Matthews and Alma Matthews (Cameron); her siblings, John, Scott, Graham Matthews and Shirley Bowen; and her children, Cathy, Murray and Jeanne Mailman.

She is survived by : her children, Daniel (Janet), Stephen, David and Evangeline; her grandchildren, Ryan, Randal, Jeremy, Josh, Kristie, Jarrod, Jacob, Colton and Meghan; her great grandchildren, Emma, Abby, Ella, Callum, Max, Olivia, Kai, Madelyn and Cru; her siblings, Ervin Matthews (Annette) and Debbie Lutes (Angus); her brothers-in-law, Joe Mailman (Jean) and Ronnie Bowen; and her children-in-law, Edna Mailman (Harvey) and David Connors. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, March 31 at the Shubenacadie location of Ettinger Funeral Home; COVID-19 restrictions will be in place. Due to the Pandemic, a private funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, April 1 in Riverview United Church, Elmsdale, Rev Kim Curlett officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riverview United Church.
