He was predeceased by: his parents, Loretta Colbert (Comeau) and Edgar Colbert. He is survived by: his wife Sandra (Gilby); his children, Timothy, Kathryn and Victoria; his son-in-law Nick Carruthers; his grandchildren, Chesney Colbert and Hugh Carruthers; his pet Tucker; and his sisters, Louise Randall (Cyril), Gail Freeman (Peter) and Jane Roy (John). He is also survived by sister and brother in laws and many nieces and nephews, aloing with his brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St Bernard's Church (253 Hwy 2, Enfield, NS B2T1C9).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Larry's memory can be made to the Enfield Volunteer Fire Department or the Enfield Caring and Sharing Food Bank.
