Claudia Jane (Stevens) Denny Obituary

We bid farewell to Claudia Jane (Stevens) Denny (Eskasoni, Nova Scotia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 3, 2025 at the age of 55. Claudia Jane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mother Margaret Stevens (Small); her sister Delores Ann Stevens; her nephew Andrew "Andalo" Stevens; her grandparents, Bertrand "Bertie", Sophia Kapashesit (Small) of Waskaganish, Dan K. and Mary Jane Stevens of Eskasoni; her aunts and uncles, Laura Kapashesit, Richard Small, Dorothy MacPhee, Sharon Googoo and Walter Stevens; and her godfather Oliver "Sap" Denny.

She is survived by: her husband Darryl; her children, Cody, Daralynn, Mathew, Darla (Andre) and Andrew; her grandchildren, Joy, Jaden, Sophia and Karl Douglas; her father Roger Dan Stevens; her parents-in-law, Douglas and Dorothy Denny; her brother Bert (Liberty); her siblings-in-law, Charlene (Jackie), Karen (Ruben), Shannon (Jeremiah) and Chad (Tiffanie); her aunts and uncles, Beatrice Wapachee, Sandy Small, Doris Diamond, Judy Cheechoo, Virginia Small, Clarence Small, Bertie Small, Michael Small, Alfred Small, Delores Brooks, Vincent Stevens (Sue), Ralph Stevens, Bertram Bernard (Muin), Lloyd Mosey and Francis Stevens; her nieces and nephews, Drake, Deon (Hope), Deven, Leanne, Danelle and Blaire; her godmother Phyllis Denny; her godchildren, Deon, Rylan, Kiana and Blaire; and her close friends, Sonia Marshall and Holly Paul. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Gabriel Centre. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Family Church (50 Gabriel St, Eskasoni, NS B0A1J0).
