She was predeceased by: her parent James Gammon; and her husband Henry Bezanson. She is survived by: her parent Ruth Gammon (Mason); her sons, John Bezanson (Lisa) of Eureka and Allen Bezanson of Westville; her grandchildren, Sophia and Jacob; her siblings, Helen Cyr (Nellie) of Westville, Clara MacCormack (Reid) of Salisbury and Alvin Desveaux of Dartmouth; her aunt Stella Gammon of Truro; her sister-in-law Marlene Tracey of Edmonton; and her sister Louise Dobbin (Lulu) of Dartmouth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Emily to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
