It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily Jane Dalrymple (Fall River, Nova Scotia), born in White Plains, New York, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Rose Mary Metzler and Edward Metzler (Percy); and her siblings, Frances, Laverne, Gloria, Lillian, Edward and Richard.

She is survived by : her pets, Boston and Archie; her husband Harold "Hallie"; her sons, Barry (Margo), Ross and Paul; her sisters, Rosemarie and Dianne; and her grandchildren, Garry, Scott, Amanda, Samantha and Danny. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the LWF Community Hall.

“Hallie, Paul, Ross, Barry and family. We are so saddened to hear of your loss of Emily. She and you have have been wonderful and kind neighbours to us over the years. Emily was always such a pleasant beautiful lady; it was always a pleasure to meet her and chat, often when she passed by our house on her daily walks. “Dear Hallie, Ross and families…..I have fond memories of ‘Em going back to 1980 when I joined the staff at Basin Stationery and would see Hallie and Emily fairly often. She was always a bright light when she entered a room. She was also fiercely protective of Hallie and her boys.
