He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanley Aker and Annie May Aker (MacKenzie); and his brother Austin Aker. He is survived by : his wife Brenda Mary Aker (Martin); his daughters, Jo-Ann Redden (Garth), Kathy Hanks (Rodney), Port Williams and Shelley Aker; his grandchildren, Keshia Laffin, Amy Laffin, Port Williams, Michael Redden (Megan) and Luke Redden; his siblings, Evelyn Harvey (Frank), Eric Aker (Audrey) of Calgary, Sidney Aker (Gail) of Calgary and Henry Aker (Brenda); his sister-in-law Jean Aker; and his friend Clayton.
