With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Leona Starratt of Falmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Windsor, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 11, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Brett Lunn and Flossie Lunn (Swinamer); her husband Starr; her daughter Evelyn; and her siblings, Merrill, Graham, Malcolm, Ron, Gary, Helen and June.

She is survived by : her children, Richard "Rick" (Brenda), Bishopville, Joanne and Tony; her grandchildren, Starr (Trevor), Joey (Sarah), Linda, Michael (Shayna), Laura, Sarah, Amber (Matt) and Evan; her great grandchildren, Ritchie, Josh, Jersey, David, Seth and Lilly; her siblings, Wayne Lunn and Joyce; and her sister-in-law Joyce (Alphonse Gillis).

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317) where visitation will be held Thursday, October 14 from 6-8 p. m. Please note: Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and identification must be presented upon arrival and masks are required.
