Joan Louise Barkhouse Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Louise Barkhouse of Falmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Windsor, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 13, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Austin Peach and Lottie Peach (Wile); her husband Ronnie; her son Terry; her brother Wayne Peach (Doris); and her siblings-in-law, Brenda Simm (Roger) and Richard Beckwith.
She is survived by : her children, Danny (Sharon), Michael (Lisa), Murray (Atasha) and Jennifer DeWolfe (Clyde); her daughter-in-law Annette Barkhouse; and her siblings, John Peach (Rosanne), Betty Beckwith and Linda Boyd (Gordon). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the Windsor Elms, especially the "angels in scrubs" of Meadowview, House 3, for their wonderful care and love they showed our Mom, especially throughout the pandemic. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where a funeral service in keeping with COVID-19 protocols (after immediate family is seated there will be 25 seats available for extended family and public), will be held on Saturday, September 18 at 3:00 p. m., Rev. Garnet Parker officiating.
