She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest DeCoste and Emma DeCoste (Mury); and her siblings, Merina, Duncan, Napoleon, Bernard and Dennis.
She is survived by: her husband Seward; her children, Sheldon (Whitney), Jolene (Darren) and Jonathan (Aurelie); her grandchildren, Dustin, Evie, Easton and Peyton; her siblings, Lorraine, Agnes (Richie), Clothilda, Emelia and Alexander; and her pet Reese.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pauls Roman Catholic Church (1470 Cape Jack Rd, Havre Boucher, NS B0H1P0).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul's Parish Luncheon or Cemetery Fund.
