It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William DeGruchy of Frankville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary DeGruchy (Fougère) and Allan DeGruchy; his son Dennis (Leanne); and his siblings, Marie, Alexander (Elizabeth), Peter and Edward (Colleen).
He is survived by: his wife Madeleine; his children, Sheila (Tahira) and Dean (Catherine); his grandsons, Logan, Jacob and Luke; his great grandchildren, Lily, Izzy and Lincoln; his brother Andrew (Barbara); his siblings-in-law, Pat DeCoste (Marie), Darlene and Angela; his brothers, Joseph, James, Gerard and Micheal; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Theresa DeCoste and Carl A. DeCoste. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. Paul's Centre (1470 Cape Jack Rd, Havre Boucher, NS B0H1P0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pauls Roman Catholic Church (1470 Cape Jack Rd, Havre Boucher, NS B0H1P0).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Paul's Parish and Our Lady of Grace Monastery.
