She was predeceased by : her parents, Mark Manette and Millie Manette; and her husband Gordon. She is survived by : her children, Christina (Larry), Susan (Jim), Mark, Colin, Robert, Richard and Cecil; her grandsons, Christopher (Alicia), Ronnie, Daniel and Matthew; and her great grandchildren, Catalaya, Kyle and Chauncy.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie's memory can be made to the Freeport Baptist Church or any local food bank.
