Brian will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Though Brian is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Brian’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: John Douglas Dyas and Annie Gertrude Thurber; siblings: John (Kathy), Thelsa (Alton), Vicky (Daniel), Trudy, Dawn, Jane (Jesse) and Luanne (Randall); predeceased family: Dale (infant brother), Marjorie, Linda and Meredith (sisters), Joseph, Laurie and Randy (nephews), Ebony (great-niece) and Andrew and Garrett (great-nephews); other: Craig Glavin; and many friends, relatives, nieces, nephews, and their families.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Freeport Baptist Church (334 NS-217, Freeport, NS B0V1B0).
