With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen Elizabeth MacKinnon of Gardiner Mines, Nova Scotia, born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 10, 2021 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Boutilier and Catherine Boutilier (Gouthro); her husband Billy; her son David (Cathy); and her brother Joey Boutilier.

She is survived by: her sons, Steve, Daniel (Brenda) and Arthur (Susie); her siblings, Caddie Royal, Mary Mackie (Jimmy), Anna Boutilier, Willie Boutilier (Marg) and Alvin Boutilier; her siblings-in-law, Mary Boutilier and Martin MacKinnon; her grandchildren, Tiffany, Courtney, Brena, Cailin, Tara and Scottie; her great grandchildren, Tiana, Shoncy, Brooklyn and Elizabeth; and her niece Debbie Allen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and great friends.
