With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delia Doreen Hastie of Georges River, Nova Scotia, born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 26, 2023 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Delia Doreen Hastie to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles MacDonald and Joan MacDonald (MacMullin); and her brother Alex MacDonald. She is survived by : her husband Thomas "Tom" Hastie; her sons, Christopher Hastie (Clare) and Yellowknife (Alexander Hastie); her siblings, Eliza Powell (Stan), Colleen Pierrynowski (Keith), Teddy MacDonald and Darrell MacMullin; her sister-in-law Faye MacDonald (Sydney); and her pet Harley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
