She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred Roberts and Lilian Roberts; her husband Angus; and her siblings, Alfred, Arthur, Albert and Edna McCormick.

She is survived by : her children, Stephen (Diana), Jane MacLean (Gordon), Gregory (Joan) and Marion Bridge; her grandchildren, Matthew MacLean (Luke), Jonathan (Cathy), Dundas Ont, Dan MacLeod (Oliver) and Rory MacLeod Wolfville; and her sister Marian Bridson.

Donations in Doris's memory can be made to the Glace Bay Hospital Auxiliary.
