She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel Nicholson and Jane Nicholson; her siblings, Wesley Nicholson, Allen Nicholson, Neila MacRury, Morah MacDonald, Donald Nicholson and Roy Nicholson; and her siblings-in-law, Donnie MacInnis, Dave Burke, Arch MacRury and Beverley Nicholson.
She is survived by : her husband Freeman Vokey; her children, Barbara (James Whitters) and Jeffrey (Corry); her grandchildren, Haley, Zachary Vokey, Heather, Stephanie and Zachary MacMaster; her great grandchildren, Talia and Connor MacMaster; her siblings, Peggy Hummer (Bill), Jean MacInnis, Audrey Burke and Murray Nicholson; and her siblings-in-law, Helen Nicholson, Vernon MacDonald and Lavinia Vokey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or charity of choice.
