With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence Louise Baggs (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), born in Liscomb, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 18, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ellsworth Mailman and Ada Mailman; her husband Melvin; her son Gerald Edward Baggs; and her siblings, Hilda Rudolphe, Sheila MacMullian, Dorothy Hemsley, Rose Gledhill, Harvey Mailman, Albert Mailman, Francis Mailman, Lawrence Mailman and Wilfred Mailman.

She is survived by : her children, Lisa Lorraine Baggs (Pius), Vincent Arthur Baggs, Albert Allister Baggs and Jason Lyle Baggs (Terri); and her sisters, Gertrude Moore, Ivy Wadden and Martha Timmons. She is also survived by Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Patten Funeral Home (71 Union St, Glace Bay, NS B1A2P6). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Patten Funeral Home Chapel (71 Union St, Glace Bay, NS B1A2P6).
