Gladys MacLeod Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys MacLeod (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 8, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Orestes Parsons and Elsie Parsons; her grandparents, Walter, Sophie Noseworthy and Dragatis Street; her children, Lorna MacLeod, Beverley MacLeod, Robert MacLeod (Margaret), Wilma Brock (Ian Foote) and Karen MacLeod; her grandchildren, Shauna Archibald (John), Grant MacLeod (Kim), Chris Cash and Jared Brock (Katy Jensen); her great grandchildren, Cameron, Miles Archibald, Madeline, Nathan and Ainsley MacLeod; her siblings, Eunice Ward (Clifford), Yvonne Harrington (Clarence), Melvina Reed, Joe Parsons and Frank Parsons (Mary); her sisters-in-law, Ruth Reid and Lois MacLeod; her husband John G. MacLeod; her son-in-law Andrew Brock; her siblings, Thelma, Pearl, Audrey, Elsie, Agnes, Sophie and William; and her siblings-in-law, David, Neil, Robert, Alex, Donald, Annie, Wibbie, Helen, Isabel and Jean. She was also cherished by Dad built with help from his brothers and in-laws.

Donations in Gladys' memory to either Glace Bay Hospital Foundation or to a charity of one's choice would be greatly appreciated.
