He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Parsons and Sarah Parsons; and his siblings, Blanche MacDonald, Joyce Boutilier, Bess Anderson, Martin Parsons and Art Parsons.
He is survived by: his wife Frances; and his siblings, Kaye York and Calvin Parsons. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Patten Funeral Home (71 Union St, Glace Bay, NS B1A2P6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Salvation Army Church (40 Union St, Glace Bay, NS B1A2P5).
