She was predeceased by: her parents, Timothy Patrick Nearing and Sarah Barrett; her husband Allan Attwood; her siblings, Shirley Sommers (Keith), Timothy "Sonny" Nearing (Edna) and Barry Wagg; her siblings-in-law, Ann, Phylis (Donnie) and Tommy (Joan); and her niece Kim Owen.

She is survived by: her daughters, Leanne Attwood (Karl) and Natalie Attwood (Ian); her grandson Justin Bravo (Amy); and her sister-in-law Audrey Blacklock (Jim). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
