It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jessie Christobel MacDonald (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Weatherby and Katherine Weatherby (Buchanan); her husband Omar; and her siblings, D. J. Weatherby, Ruth MacIntyre, Anne MacVicar (James), Mildred McNeil (Alphonse), Mary Lou Munroe (Gerry) and Shirley MacKenzie (Aubrey).

She is survived by : her daughters, Arlene Kyle (Barry) of Bathurst, N. B. and Dr. Karen MacDonald (Blair) of Bedford, N. S.; her grandchildren, Colin (Olivia), Blaine Kyle (Cassie), Katherine, Amy and Jocelyn MacDonald; her great grandchildren, Georgia and Bree Kyle; and her sister-in-law Audy Weatherby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Cape Breton, the VON or a charity of choice.
