She was predeceased by : her parents, Bertha MacKinnon and James Hugh MacKinnon; her husband Frank MacDonald; and her siblings, Christine McLellan (Charles), Flora Cann (Jimmy), Johneva Shea, Howard MacKinnon (Ruth), Tommy MacKinnon (Hazel), Clarence MacKinnon and John MacKinnon.

She is survived by : her children, Francis MacDonald (Mona), Jimmy MacDonald (Norma) and Judy Chute (James). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
