With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Eva (Bagnell) Stairs in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 14, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Mary Eva had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Mary Eva may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Grant and Annie Isabel Bagnell (Morrison); her husband Avery Stairs; and her brother-in-law Mac Leadbeater. She is survived by: her sister Erna Leadbeater; and her children, Jennifer Witham (Sydney) and Grant Witham. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
