We bid farewell to Shirley Humby (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 22, 2025 at the age of 83. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her son Herby; her siblings, Joan, Christine, Paul, Albert, Effie, Irene, Big John, Esther and Margaret; and her son-in-law Glen Walsh.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Milley, Marlene Lynk (Gary), Kathy Humby (Brian), Jennifer Marsters (Randy), Mary Long (Terry) and Barbara Walsh; and her siblings, June and Ernie (Karen). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Patten Funeral Home (71 Union St, Glace Bay, NS B1A2P6).
