He is survived by: his parent Marguerite Swim (Nickerson); his wife Romayne Swim of Glenwood; his daughters, Lucy Nickerson (Fred) of Beaverdam, Waitie Symonds (Michael) of Wood, Harbour Amiro and Twyla Amiro (Justin) of Wood; his stepchildren, Matthew Thompson (Bernice) of Massachusetts, Cheryl Foley (Duncan) of New Hampshire and Lynn Fitzgerald (Dean) of Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Farron (Jana), Owen, Jenna, Kaylin and Douglas; his stepgrandchildren, Aidan, Maggie, Owen and Cam; his great grandchildren, Wyatt and Cecilia; and his sisters, Nettie Hopkins, Deloris Adams, Donna Varszegi, Betty Jean Cameron, Linda Lou Cunningham and Bonnie Nickerson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
