George Hedley MacKillop Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2025, George Hedley MacKillop of Grand River, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mackillop (Power) and Hilda Mackillop (Power); his wife Lorraine; and his siblings, Karen, Roddie, Gordie and Donny.

He is survived by: his children, Karen Coulstring (Maurice), Tupper Lake, Sandra Conrad (Rodney) and Kevin Mackillop (Mary) of Burnaby, B. C.; his grandchildren, Kristopher, Adam, Spencer, Hannah, William and Gregory; his great grandchildren, Ryder, Kashlyn, Zoe, Jackson and Dottie; and his siblings, Marilyn Harrison of Glace Bay and William Mackillop (Marguerite) of Glace Bay. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations can be made to Heart and Stroke foundation or Kidney Foundation in lieu of flowers.
