With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lola MacAskill (Grand River, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 14, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel MacAulay and Sarah MacAulay (Morrison); her husband John Angus MacAskill; and her siblings, Kenneth, John, Gilbert (Buddy), Christie, Marjorie, Emma and Phelena.
She is survived by: her children, Alvin Dartmouth (Claire), Dan Grand River (Brenda) and Dolores Truro (Carl); her grandchildren, Matthew, Evan (Briana), Kirk and Shawnda (Gerry); and her sister-in-law Esther MacAulay.
