He is survived by: his wife Alison Smyth of Bridgewater; his children, James (Minerva) of Guelph, Ontario and Emma; his granddaughter Madeline; his sister-in-law Celine Crowther; his former wife Christine Howard of New Maldon; his brother Bruce; his sister-in-law Ruth Herridge; his nibling Christian of Mahone Bay, N. S.; and his foster daughter Catherine Boss of Victoria, B. C..
