She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Carter and Betty Carter (Moore); her daughter Suzanne; her sister Joy Carter; and her brother-in-law Bruce Morrisey.

She is survived by: her husband Wayne; her children, David (Vruti) and Jennifer; her grandson Simon of Victoria; and her siblings, Irene Morrisey, Leonard Carter and Dawn Carter-Henderson (Donald). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
