James Ross Desmond Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Ross Desmond of Greenwood, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 10, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Desmond and Jessie May Desmond (Paris); and his father-in-law George Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Linda (Johnson); his sons, Shawn (Darlene) of Petawawa, ON and David; his grandchildren, Crystal, Kendrick, Jamal, Michia and Oakleigh; his great grandchildren, Chelsie, Danyl, Colby, Nevaeh, Shirley and Mordecai; his great great grandchild Kingsley; and his mother-in-law Arvella Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Donations in memory may be made to Greenville Baptist Church, Yarmouth, Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of choice if you wish.
