She was predeceased by: her parents, Clement George and Bertha George. She is survived by: her husband David; her children, Anna (Perry), David "Bud" (Angela) and Ron (Marion); her grandchildren, Melanie (Andrew), Patrick (Nicole), Sarah (James), Hanna, Kaleb (Bailey) and Keigan; and her great grandchildren, Ewan, Farrah and Niall. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes (724 Granville St, Port Hawkesbury, NS B9A2N8). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (86 Church St, Guysborough, NS B0H1N0). A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at the St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Palliative Care in Guysborough or Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
