It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alphonse Benoit Deveau (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Meteghan, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 18, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Deveau and Celina Deveau (Founier); his siblings, Edward, Peter, Dennie, Leo, Lucy, Cecilia and Presilla; his granddaughter Jessica Barkhouse; his son-in-law Randy Topple; and his great grandchild Xavier Deveau.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Deveau (Saulnier); his children, Harold (Celina), Wayne (Joanne), David, Mark (Paula), Patricia (Brian), Joyce and Darlene; and his siblings, Alfred, May and Agnes. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
