He was predeceased by : his parents, Peter McArthur and Georgina McArthur; his wife Jean; and his siblings, Joyce and George.

He is survived by : his daughters, Susan McArthur, Bedford, Jaqueline (Gary), Jane Farrell (Gerard) and Jennifer Kelly (Brian); and his grandchildren, Amanda Stephenson, Kaitlyn Farrell, Andrew Farrell, Brett Thorne, Jack Kelly and Jordyn Kelly.
