He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joe Fitzpatrick and Alberta Flannigan; his son Joseph; his siblings, Jim, Clem (Monica), Tom (Rose), Jack, Catherine (Austin Lambe), Eliza (Joseph Power) and Rose (Bernard Ferrie); his brother-in-law Walter Strilkiwski; his nephew Eddy Strilkiwski; his great-nephew Vincent; and also Anita Hebb.

He is survived by: his sister Margaret Strilkiwski; his nieces, Noella Gallant, Lorraine Power-Mischitelle and Geraldine Rogers; his grandchildren, Sarah and Andrew Fitzpatrick; his close friend Joan Devoe; his grandson Francis (Lauren); and also, Jeanie, Germaine (Kryl), Sylvia (John), Colleen, Valerie (Bob) and Cliff (Sandra). He is also survived by great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Andy's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society for research towards Prostate Cancer.
