She is survived by: her parent Sarah Beaton; her daughters, Donalda Cody Timberlea (Kevin), Catherine MacDonald and Sarah Cassidy Halifax (Patrick); her great grandchildren, Kiera Cody, Ewan Cody, Andre Morgan and Elara Cody Morgan; and her nephew Donald Rankin Halifax (Mary).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia; Sacred Heart School of Halifax Bursary fund or Saint Vincent Nursing Home.
