She was predeceased by: her parents, Allan Y McCormick and Margaret McCormick (McNeil); her husband John Albert Ward; her siblings, James, Austin, John, Wilfred, Mary, Winnifred and Evelyn; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Anna and Brian Joseph.

She is survived by: her children, Brian Ward (Beverly McMullin), Doug Ward (Margo Bonnell), Tom Ward (Helen MacDonell), Joanne Walsh (Gerard) and Catherine Ward (Bentley Corkum); her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Lexy, Ewan, Peyton and James; and her brother Leo McCormick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
