She is survived by: her children, Marie MacLean (Mark), Nadine Thomas (Max), Jamie Thomas (Jen) and Laura Thomas (Sean); her grandchildren, Daniel, Johanna, Hugh, Henri, Jaxxon, Mae and Lucas; and her siblings, Mary, Lynn, Margaret, Donalda, Jim, Alan and Colin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. A. Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St Agnes Church (6903 Mumford Rd, Halifax, NS B3L2H4).
Also was her deep faith and devotion to her church and community of Saint Lawrence Parish where she taught religion for 20+ years and served as a minister of communion, and her works of charity including many years with Hope Cottage in Halifax.
