It is with sadness that the passing of Aubrey Fricker of Halifax, Nova Scotia is shared. Aubrey, born on August 2, 1940, passed away on October 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Aubrey will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Aubrey by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Aubrey is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Aubrey’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fricker and Margaret Fricker. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his sons, Michael (Edmonton) and Paul (Boston); his daughter-in-law Kamla (Sadho); and his grandchildren, Alexander and Kristina.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cruikshank's Halifax Funeral Home (2666 Windsor St, Halifax, NS B3K5C9). A reception will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations in Aubrey's memory may be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB), the Alzheimer's Society or a charity of your choice.
