She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Wilberforce Longley of Halifax and Dorcas Abbott of Massachusetts; her husband Johan Devold Koppernaes; her children, Karen Elizabeth, Johan Abbott Stein Michael (Michelle), Christian (Robin) and Erik Devold (Angela); her grandchildren, Maia Elizabeth Alexander James (Sam Stewart), Anna Margaret, Maltzahn of Halifax, Julia, Johan IV, Sean Alexander Koppernaes of Bedford, Leif, Finn, Drummond Koppernaes of South Carolina and Hannah Devold Koppernaes of Lunenburg Co; her stepgrandchildren, Meghan, Adam Henneberry and Eric Cimon; her grandson Michael Koppernaes; and her cousin Charles "Cookie" Longley.
