It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Basil John Murphy (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on June 21, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Murphy (Charlton) and Cecil Murphy; his siblings, Madelyn Manley (John Manley), Cecil (Elizabeth) and Ruth (Bill Shea); and his brother-in-law Doug Beck.
He is survived by: his sister Rosemary Beck (Murphy); and his close friends, Audrey Ross, William and Mary Landry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
