It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Barrett of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Barrett and Marie Barrett (Bagatin); and her siblings, Sheila Oakley (Glenn Oakley) and Vincent Barrett. She is survived by: her children, Matthew Barrett, Chrisie Barrett and Joseph Barrett; her grandchildren, Nicholas Barrett, Merissa Barrett, Massiah Barrett, Matthew Barrett, Jr. and Samiah Barrett; her great grandchildren, Madyx Barrett and Nalayah Barrett; and her siblings, Linda Donaldson, Julia Cole (William Cole), Jan Eddy (Glenn Eddy), Barbara Barrett (Michael Blackwood), Anna Janes (Robert Janes), Wendy Stone (Ross Stone), Daniel Barrett (Catherine LeBlanc Thomas), Steven Barrett (Pamela Clinton), Harold Barrett and Johnny Whiteway (Amanda Rehberg). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
